On monday of this week I went to Holywell Bay as I needed to help my friend film, and also just like Ferris Bueller I couldn't face going into College on such a nice day. I then spent the rest of the week focusing on editing. I edited bits such as adding music to the end & compiling news footage on teenage killers together. I also recorded audio for my film which was just dialogue. I am now getting ready to submit my work.

This week I focused on editing the scenes I had filmed whilst being on Easter break. I had my friend help me with blurring Scene 2 of my film to make it look like there is a dead body. I then added the sound effects I required for that scene. The rest of the editing was pretty straightforward as it was mainly just cutting clips together. During these two weeks I spent my time filming the rest of my film as well as filming for my classmates films as this period was Easter half term. I learnt a lot about making found footage realistic, how to change dialogue when needed and more about working in a team with people.

ab During this week, I watched 4 True Crime Documentaries which looked at cases which involved murderers such as 'Will Cornick' and 'Daniel Marsh'. Through this, I learnt a lot about vicious murderers and what motivates them to commit the crimes they do which helped me understand certain aspects to help me with the making of my film. On this week my work started off with me finishing my 'Location Scouting Checklist's' by using the template given to me by my Tutor. After I had done this I then completed a 'SWOT' Analysis on the same day and submitted it. Then on the Tuesday, I researched two films. The two films I researched after I had watched them was the 1992 film 'Man Bites Dog' and 'Peeping Tom' (1960). This week was the fourth week of my Final Major Project and I was planning to film on this week on the weekend. This meant that I had to finish Pre-Production as I'm physically not allowed to film without Pre-Production being fully completed as this is what my Tutor had told us. I found this particularly challenging as my friends were in the room so they became a distraction, and it was being recorded to be submitted. I also researched the 'Dnepropetrovsk Maniacs' as this is the main inspiration of my Film, I then researched the 1994 film 'Natural Born Killers' as this is also an inspiration, I then ended the week by researching the sub-genre of 'Found Footage'.
